The UX Designer will work in a highly collaborative environment with other skilled software professionals to deliver exceptional software and tools to help them improve the way our clients do business. You will be designing exceptional user experiences, working side by side with developers as they take your vision and specific interaction design details, and build world-class custom software products.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Build and scale wireframes and sitemaps for web applications
Work with software developers to build solutions to business challenges
Visually communicates concepts and designs in a variety of ways including reports and interactive
Structure flexible yet simple CSS keeping in mind the strengths & limitations of JavaScript
Create graphic assets in a fast paced environment
Design and run usability evaluations
Design user experiences team members can readily turn into products
Build and deliver presentations to users and technical teams
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understands basic web-based and client/server architectures, including how systems interface with each other
Possesses working knowledge of web frameworks/technologies and database design
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Ability to seek out and identify business challenges and develop solutions
Careful attention to detail
Capable of following technical discussions and engage in information modeling sessions
Strong information design skills
Ability to operate efficiently and effectively given limited oversight
Experience and Education
Minimum of 7 years working in UX Design and building web applications.
Bachelor?s or Master?s degree preferred
Experience with custom web apps built on GWT is preferred
Solid understanding of HTML and CSS
Experience with Agile software development practices
