About the Job
As a user experience designer, you will design and develop user interfaces and wireframes, produce design comps, and own the overall user interface architecture for multiple products. This is a perfect role for someone who has strong design experience as well as understanding of how to simplify navigation through complex applications and enhance the overall customer experience. The ideal candidate will have experience designing for both mobile applications and websites. We are an end-to-end solutions provider, so you will get to work with hardware, software, cellular networks, and backend systems.
Responsibilities
Design and develop the user interface for multiple products.
Provide leadership with respect to total end-to-end user experience.
Profile and summarize user experience data.
Create and provide fast prototypes to drive quick decisions.
Lead rapid iterations on a variety of ideas using wireframes and sketches to produce fully designed comps
Participate in multi-disciplinary brainstorming sessions with designers, product managers, engineers, and research managers
Develop user flows, wireframes, and user experience specifications based on multi-functional collaboration.
Basic Qualifications
A genuine passion for products combined with an abundance of product common sense.
Experience with wire framing and mockups. Proficiency in interaction design, conceptual development, visualization and prototyping.
Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
Ability to learn quickly new skills in order to produce deliverables.
Ability to understand how to utilize customer and user research to drive design decisions
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely through both written and verbal means
Ability and insight to effectively influence others. Articulate, champion and implement abstract design ideas across the organization.
Ability to articulate big picture design ideas as well as have impeccable attention to detail.
Desired Qualifications
College graduate with a love for products, people, and user experience.
Bachelor's or Master's in Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction or other related field.
Bachelor's or Master's in Visual / Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or related field or equivalent industry experience
Proven ability to drive complex design issues across organizations and disciplines
Demonstrated experience with multiple device application platforms (J2ME, BREW, Android, iPhone) and system architectures.
