As a UX Designer for ChannelAdvisor, you will be responsible for the overall design and user experience of theChannelAdvisor platform. Combining a deep understanding of the needs of our customers with a passion for userexperience and design you will work closely to design and deliver enhancements to our award winning platform. Thisposition reports to the Director of Product Management and will work closely with the Product Management and ProductDevelopment teams to design and deliver great products.Essential Job Functions:???Work with users of the ChannelAdvisor platform to understand their needs and work processes.Rapid prototype new ideas ?paper prototypes to high fidelity mockups and everything in between.Ability to synthesize input. User Interface Design, Information Architecture, Interaction Design and Graphic Design are allpart of user experience and this job entails all of them at some point.Product/Project Management. Rarely is the best design the first one. Work closely with engineers and productmanagers to iterate quickly to produce a high quality product.???

Required Skills
Job Specifications:
Expert understanding of graphic design principles, layout, composition, and color theory.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented and organized.
Experience working in an Agile Development environment.
Expert level skills in Adobe Photoshop.
Intermediate to expert skills in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Flash.
Strong understanding of browser fundamentals, including jQuery, CSS, HTML 5, JavaScript plus experience using developer tools such as Firebug and Fiddler.
Bachelor?s degree (or equivalent) in art and/or design and 2-4 years experience with graphic design in a Software as a Service product.
Qualified applicants will need to provide sample URLs or an online portfolio.
