SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
SUMMARY: This position is focused on the management of the base business in a selected geography role and works in partnership with a TM to achieve daily sales objectives, including quota achievement. They are responsible for the pull through at existing accounts, and also account growth following initial launch by the TM. They provide input regarding account priorities, competitive intelligence and can, where appropriate, leverage their relationships in an attempt to assist the TM in the achievement of territory/business objectives. They will report in directly to the TM for daily accountabilities and direction, but ultimately report in to the RSM.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned on an individual basis:
Works in partnership with the TM in pursuit of daily sales objectives including quota achievement
Responsible for delivering clinical sales presentations that focus on Mynx features and benefits
Conducts in-services and presentations to all support staff (including floor, RN-s and techs) and signs off trained users
Focused on driving depth in existing accounts through the cultivation of new physician users, and re-engaging lost customers
Where appropriate, and with TM guidance, the VCS will leverage their relationships and selling skills to bring in new business
Where applicable, will assist the Clinical Specialist in complication management at assigned accounts
The VCS is responsible for daily communication back to the TM
Maintains company standards involving ethical and moral character while professionally representing the company
Demonstrates outstanding product knowledge
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience and 2+ years related experience in the medical device/pharmaceutical field (cath lab technician, nurse, etc.) or in a related area
Strong sales skills and track record
Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills; ability to adapt to changing work priorities
Above average communications skills; proficiency in business English and grammar; attention to detail to maintain records and process reports
Proficiency with PC-based office computers, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
Ability to work independently
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work includes potential exposure to human bloodborne pathogens or other potentially infectious materials.
Work includes potential exposure to radiation sources such as fluoroscope in a catheter laboratory setting.
Work includes potential exposure to chemicals.
