As a Vendor Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for successfully negotiating, managing, tracking and maintaining the required standard contracts, forms and documentation for the Gilt?s finished goods vendors. You will work cross-functionally and with the vendors to ensure the timely execution and processing in order to support the purchasing process. In addition you will participate in ad-hoc projects as required.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the front line contact and liaison for vendors and business partners in regards to standard contracts, forms and documentation.
Partner with Merchandising, Legal, Finance and Compliance to ensure all required vendor contracts and forms are obtained, negotiated, completed and executed as needed. These include but are not limited to:
Vendor Agreements
Marketing Agreements
Private label Agreements
W9s
Vendor Setup Forms
Certificates of Insurance
Credit Applications
Effectively facilitate the negotiation of standard contracts, including Legal and Business terms as required, and shepherd though timely execution
Create, implement and enforce processes to support contract execution
Track and monitor each step of the contract lifecycle
Ensure proper filing and notification of completion to internal parties
Act as the gatekeeper to proper vendor setup in internal systems
Document, manage and maintain any revolving or expiring documents
Provide weekly and ad hoc reporting ensuring transparency for business partners
Provide vendors with copies of fully executed vendor, marketing and private label agreements
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent work experience
2-3 years contract administration experience
Demonstrated contract negotiation experience
General understanding of contract terms
Excellent organizational skills
Extremely detail oriented
Demonstrated vendor management skills
Very strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable communicating clearly at all levels of the organization and ability to work cross-functionally
Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
