Vendor Manager Greenphire
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Vendor Manager is responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing solid relationships with Product/Service vendors, as well as internal stakeholders across the organization. This position is accountable for sourcing, vendor performance management and relationship management. This role will drive vendor performance best practices through scorecards, service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs). This role will participate in the development and execution on strategic sourcing strategies, risk mitigation, and negotiation strategies.
Monitor, manage and report on vendor compliance of contractual agreements and deliverables, establishing performance goals and objectives
Manage business and measures vendor performance against expected Service Level Agreements (SLA's), defined Key Performance Indicators and is responsible for its financial performance
Ensure standards are being met and prioritized appropriately with suppliers
Develop and implement action plans to address processes needing improvement, providing coaching and support
Act as single point of contact and escalation for vendors and coordinates issue resolution with senior management
Act in liaison capacity with vendors, other departments and business units to implement and communicate business strategy
Analyze trends to recommend, document and implement process improvement
Provide monthly and quarterly summaries to senior management on overall performance and trends
Lead contract negotiations and on-boarding for assigned new vendors
Compile and analyze trends that affect budgetary needs and planning
Track annual spend, cost savings, and vendor financial health
Oversee planning of new and recurring Vendor reviews. Determine that efforts are not duplicated across the group
Coordinate training for new Policies and Procedures to both internal employees and vendors
4+ years of experience managing business relationships
Understanding of basic financial concepts: gross margins, budgets, invoicing, etc.
Exceptional negotiation, communication and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively evaluate and negotiate strategic business partnerships
Ability to effectively operate within diverse and cross functional groups, including outside vendors
Ability to analyze issues, develop and deploy solutions within a dynamic environment
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Ability to implement and continuously improve processes
Well organized, strong administrative and detail oriented skills
Strong team orientation, communication, creative and analytical skills
Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills required
