As a part of the Nakina Systems team, you will be exposed to all jobs and aspects of a medium sized software development company. During your term, you will be given exposure to the full software delivery lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Verification and most importantly Delivery) including support functions of infrastructure management, software build and early prototyping. The Product Verification Team is responsible for ensuring the complete testing and quality assurance for all Nakina Systems Software. As a Product Verification Specialist your responsibilities may include:
Running manual or automated tests to ensure functionality and quality standards are met
Developing test cases;
Isolating, duplicating, and resolving problems;
Setup and debug of the test environment and equipment;
Automating test cases using Java, Python, or various other scripting languages;
Providing input into the verification test planning, test configurations, technical problem solution and reporting of progress during the verification cycle;
Conducting execution of test creation with guidance and test execution under a controlled test environment;

Skills and Experience Required:
Familiar with Object Oriented Design
Working knowledge of Java
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal/team skills
Demonstrable complex problem solving skills
University degree in computer science or related work experience
Strong analytical and logical ability
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
Programming Languages: Java, Python or other languages
Code Repositories such as SVN
Application Servers: JBOSS, BEA Weblogic
Databases: Oracle, MySQL
Operating Systems: UNIX, Windows, Linux
IDE: Eclipse
Bug Tracking Systems such as Jira
Test Case Management Software such as ApTest
