The Vertical Sales Manager is responsible for business development efforts and solution selling of ModSpace offerings to the Federal and municipal communities as well as franchise organizations.
VSMs will develop territory marketing and individual business plans, establish strong alliances with appropriate clients, vendors, or alliance partners, and create a value proposition and need for ModSpace services in the designated industries and geographic market.
Specifically, this experienced professional will:
Gain comprehensive knowledge of the competitive landscape within the assigned markets to identify and prioritize profitable opportunities for ModSpace offerings
Develop, organize, and execute business development and marketing plans to effectively capitalize upon opportunities
Assertively prospect and network to gain effective access to and interest from appropriate decision-makers within identified target client organizations
Establish and assertively drive profitable revenue generation in the assigned territory by the direct lease or sale of ModSpace products and services
Collaborate with operations, sales, and other functional areas to ensure transactions are seamless in delivery and scope throughout the client lifecycle, profitable and positive
Develop alliance relationships within target markets beneficial for marketing impact and pipeline opportunities.
Identify, coordinate and exhibit at appropriate special events and trade shows
Perform other duties as assigned

This critical role requires:
A minimum of 5 years of successful BD experience within the B2B and federal government markets
7-10 years of successful sales experience overall: directly attributable revenue generation
A strong technical aptitude for various component construction applications, equipment and space solutions
A demonstrated ability to develop long term customer relationships
Prior experience selling to or presenting at the C suite level
Experience selling or leasing capital expenditure equipment is preferred
All ModSpace team members must have:
PC Proficiency in Windows environment and MS Office Suite
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills
Extensive travel required and frequency of overnight travel dependent upon geographic territory
The highest levels of integrity
Regional up to National travel may be required.
