As Photobucket?s Vice President of Business Development & Strategy, you?ll play an instrumental role in driving strategic, corporate development initiatives that position Photobucket for continued growth and success. You will have the unique opportunity to identify and analyze business opportunities, negotiate contracts and follow deals through to completion. The position is responsible for coordinating deal flow through Legal and Finance and ongoing partnership management and operational support. Additionally the position is responsible for helping set overall business strategy and developing revenue producing strategic relationships. This role will report to the EVP Sales and will be located in our San Francisco office.
Initiate and manage VP & C-Level relationships with North America mobile carriers, mobile handset OEMs, consumer electronics manufacturers, social networking platforms, search engines, social gaming companies and emerging image-related service providers.
Manage business development relationships with mid-level and VP level executives at major north American mobile carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, HTC, Motorola, Apple and others
Drive adoption of Photobucket applications on consumer electronics manufacturers including Sony, Samsung, LG, apple, Roko, Isabella, Best Buy Tivo, Toshiba, Chumby and others
Analyze and prospect new opportunities to achieve overall goals of business (revenue & audience)
Partnership management and internal communication with legal, product and marketing groups Business analysis and development of presentation materials
Assist in developing and streamlining business processes
Drive pre-load and preferred placement of Photobucket?s applications on new smart phones and feature phones
Drive co-marketing and advertising revenue
Manage Photobucket?s Subscription business
Multiple years of media/interactive experience with advertising and subscription businesses. Familiarity with internet technology platforms
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external partners
Experience negotiating complex agreements that drive positive business relationships and results
Proven track record modeling complex business relationships in our market(s)
Excel, PowerPoint, Word
