The Vice President, Business Development, a key member of the leadership team will focus on structuring and negotiating partnerships. This person should possess the ability to be creative in finding the right partners to drive the company?s business objectives. Candidates must have substantial experience negotiating deals and bringing them to successful closure. This position will be a part of the executive team and report directly to the President.
The ideal candidate will have a strong business development background, with experience in working with medium and large size organizations/vendors.
Responsibilities
Identify, develop and negotiate business development relationships
Analyze the financial impact of potential partnerships and structure terms that mitigate risk and optimize revenue and profit
Work with legal to negotiate and draft agreements
Work with the marketing team to develop public relations strategies with partnerships
Qualifications
5+ years of Internet business development experience and track record
Undergraduate Degree, MBA preferred
Extensive and demonstrable deal negotiation and closing experience
Client management experience
Start-up experience a strong plus
Well organized, strong presentation and sales skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Compensation includes stock options and performance based bonus.
