Vice President, Clinical Informatics RemedyMD
Remedy Informatics seeks an experienced physician informaticist to advise and assist our sales organization in presenting our unique ontology based longitudinal disease and patient registries and research informatics products to qualified clients and prospects. Remedy offers an enterprise platform used to aggregate, map and semantically harmonize disparate data sources. Remedy has developed products that link clinical data (EMR, registries, data warehouses, etc.), biospecimens and laboratory data (LIMS, genomics, proteomics, etc.) with studies enabling ad-hoc cross-disease queries and visualization of patterns without the need for IT and SQL.
The ideal candidate would be a peer to peer advocate engaging with executive prospects in support of the sales team.
Responsibilities:
? Be a subject matter expert participating with the Remedy commercial team in C-level and Executive leadership meetings with targeted clients
? Be the point person to support the sales team articulating the unique value proposition through clinical and translational research use cases via the Mosaic PlatformTM including the MosaicOntologyTM and RemedyAMHTM and associated disease specific and research system products
? Attend relevant conferences to network among peers from AMC?s and other targeted markets
? Provide thought-leadership via speaking engagements and other communication to advocate the Remedy Mosaic Platform and products at conferences
? Support the sales/pre-sales team in the development of proposals including RFP/RFI?s
? Provide market-based input and participate in the definition and prioritization of the Remedy Product Development Roadmap
? Understand the competitive landscape and contribute to positioning Remedy among other internally developed, open-source or commercial product offerings
Requirements:
? Must be a licensed MD with at least 5 years clinical practice experience and familiarity with clinical workflows, health care delivery systems, especially academic medical centers and large integrated delivery systems
? Solid understanding of Bioinformatics and Medical Ontologies
? Technical understanding of enterprise software architecture as it relates to the ecosystem of commercial and open source platforms and tools that make up many first generation translational research informatics platforms (Epic EMR, CTMS, i2b2, RedCap, etc.)
? Actively network among thought leaders within US Academic Medical Centers (C-level, Dean of Medical School, etc.)
? Understanding of clinical research and a working knowledge of not-for-profit Medical Schools and Health Systems Payers network
? Medical domain knowledge in the fields of Cancer or Cardiology preferred
? Prior experience with a Medical/Life Science software vendor is a plus
? Must be willing to travel 50%.
