Reporting to the CMO, Lithium will hire an expert in digital strategy to lead Lithium's global web presence. You should have a track record for creatively executing digital programs and creating a web presence that will help encourage and embrace participation with Lithium's target audience. Your affinity and enthusiasm for social media and web communication strategies will provide Lithium customers, prospects and influencers with a deeper understanding of the value of Lithium's solutions.
The VP of Digital & Social provides in-depth understanding of internal and external factors that affect Lithium's digital presence including community engagement. They will define digital vision, strategy and solutions that address business challenges, user needs, and web marketing goals. They are a visionary leader with exceptional collaboration abilities, who will leverage business and customer insights, then executes with high standards and outstanding teamwork. This role interfaces heavily with the marketing, HR and customer support leadership to deliver an integrated, global, digital roadmap. This leader also provides project management direction, serves as strategic lead in a complex environment and has the hands-on execution to coordinate critical production and maintenance of the digital properties.
Leads Lithium's digital strategic planning with a particular focus on business goal analysis, differentiated experiences, brand awareness, and long-term vision
Provides strategic direction for an integrated customer and brand experience for Lithium.com and the Lithium customer community (the Lithosphere) including consistent collaboration with Lithium's community management teams
Develops innovative concepts, create compelling design solutions and follow through to final delivery on a wide variety of B2B and B2C marketing projects
Integrates the strategy between Lithium social properties (Twitter, Vimeo, Facebook, YouTube, Glassdoor, Linkedin, Google +, etc.) and the .com experience
Establishes and maintains measurement and reporting methodology to keep all related teams updated on business objectives and project status
Maintain highly productive relationship with Lithium's executive, marketing, and global sales teams
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with:
BA/BS degree with 10+ years of digital marketing experience.
While agency experience is valued, all considered candidates will have corporate in-house experience
Deep understanding of online marketing strategies with ability to identify and implement emerging web and interactive branding techniques
Advanced web technology skills are essential including HTML, working with Content Management Systems, Marketing Automation, & Google Analytics
Excellent interpersonal skills to deal professionally with the sales and marketing teams, and external vendors, partners, customers, and industry analysts
Superb communication, writing, editing, presentation, and project management skills
Visual thinker with track record of delivering exceptional digital properties
Knowledge of Salesforce.com campaigns, Marketo lead capture, and lead nurturing techniques highly valued
Self-motivated, curious, creative. Sense of humor and calculated risk taking valued
Ability to multi-task, quickly prioritize and communicate decisions to stakeholders Detail-oriented, organized, and strives for excellent execution
