Vice President/Head of Marketing Putney
VP/Head of Marketing will join our growing Commercial team to provide strategic commercial direction for Putney and its products to achieve our aggressive 5 year growth plan. The candidate for this newly created position will build the Putney brand and develop and execute a marketing plan for each launched and pipeline product. The VP will be an experienced senior marketing professional who has demonstrated success at launching new products and achieved aggressive growth targets. Our candidate will be excited to join our enthusiastic team building the first successful generic pharmaceutical company focused on pets. The ideal candidate will be both an analytical thinker and a creative strategist, have experience with professional marketing to veterinarians or other medical professionals, understand human generic pharmaceuticals, and even have CPG marketing in their background. The new VP will work hand in hand with Sales to play a leading role in achieving Putney?s growth objectives as our pipeline of prescription, generic pet drugs is approved by FDA?s CVM.
Successful candidates will have 10+ years of marketing management and strategic planning experience and superlative written and verbal communication skills. He/she will be skilled at developing and implementing marketing strategies and tactics in new and competitive markets and managing a P&L and an A team. The candidate we seek is intellectually curious, thrives on being in the field listening to customers and is able to identify and capitalize on market trends and opportunities. Must be creative, resourceful and decisive with strong problem-solving and team/consensus building skills, able to manage multiple projects, meet/exceed deadlines and expectations, and adjust quickly and effectively to change and challenges.
