Vice President, Inside Sales - Pleasanton, CA
MegaPath is the largest privately held, facilities-based Managed Services LEC in the US. We provide next-generation Hosted Voice, Cloud, Private Networking and Managed Security Service solutions to businesses nationwide. With growth in mind, we are hiring exceptional people.
As our VP of Inside Sales, you will be responsible for building a high performance Insides Sales department including hiring, managing, motivating, and retaining an inside sales staff and creating a repeatable, predictable sales process. We are seeking a highly independent, hands-on, assertive and confident self-starter who has a strong sense of sales urgency and likes to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
The scope of responsibility includes inbound, outbound and web chat for both new and existing customers. Additionally there may be an opportunity to establish a customer service organization to enable sales to focus on revenue growth opportunities.

Skills/Ability
Hire and lead a high performing and highly accountable inside sales team
Implement a rigorous sales representative training program that establishes rules of engagement, scripts, communication protocols, and closing tools
Work with marketing and sales operations to create lead generation and sales conversion tools to segment and address the business opportunity
Own the sales funnel from top to bottom ? from sales lead to close. Own all sales conversion metrics and monthly goals
Effectively guide sales team in use of Salesforce.com while creating metrics to improve sales and operational performance
Set, meet and exceed sales conversion goals, revenue and churn objectives for each key vertical and partner channels
Manage a customer care team that is passionate about creating an excellent support capability to supplement the selling process
Qualifications
10+ years of sales, operational and personnel experience managing directors, sales managers and sales representatives in a highly accountable environment
Strong sales, management, analytical and organizational skills
Telecom, unified communications and networking experience preferred
Experience running a sales funnel ? from marketing to lead to close
Self-starter who is confident in an entrepreneurial environment and has a track record of using analytic skills to proactively develop new insights that drive operational strategy and revenue growth
Excellent leadership, energy, judgment, communication, interpersonal, management and analytical skills required
