Vice President, Marketing
The Vice President, Marketing will report to the Chief Marketing Officer. He or she will be responsible for a variety of marketing programs, including, but not limited to; EMN8 B2B and B2B2C corporate programs; overall corporate visibility and self promotion; management and execution of significant marketing programs on behalf of key clients, including customer acquisition and retention, CRM and loyalty; other marketing strategy and management.
? Responsible for developing and supporting a variety of marketing programs, including but not limited to: new Corporate brand and internal marketing programs (B2B); marketing programs developed for key brand customers and their customers (B2B2C); and performance marketing as it relates to the programs directly under the purview of the Vice President, Marketing.
? Strategic oversight of the new corporate website, all marketing automation components and metrics, and sales material development. In addition, ownership of all social strategy and execution on behalf of the company
? Management and execution of highly visible, significant marketing programs on behalf of key clients, including such programs as customer acquisition and retention. VP will be marketing lead on many of these programs, in collaboration with CMO
? Develop strong relationships and collaboration with brand customer agencies (digital, design, etc.), third parties and, as needed or required, franchisees and operators. This represents both ongoing opportunities and strategic business development opportunities
? Build collaborative, cross-functional relationships across the Company, particularly Creative, Analytics, Product Management, Development, IT and the senior leadership team.
? Resource, develop and scale the Marketing function; build and develop a cohesive, talented team, results oriented internal team and a strong bench of external resources.
? Direct management of current Sr. Manager, Marketing. Includes oversight and development of assignments, programs, etc, as well as professional development.
? P&L responsibility including annual budgets and marketing plans, systematic tracking and reporting.
? Located in Los Angeles with effective onsite interaction with the teams in San Diego and Atlanta
Overview of Primary Role and Responsibilities:
? Develop marketing strategies that ensure customer base growth with profitable returns, and prove the Company value proposition. Develop short, medium and long term planning for brand customers that drive marketing programs, increase the LTV value of their customers and accrue direct value
? Present effectively to brand partners and quickly build trust in EMN8?s stewardship of their brand. Concurrently exhibit thoughtful expertise coupled with a high degree of responsiveness.
? Manage and improve existing marketing programs, while building and maintaining strong relationships with the marketing teams at the brand and any agencies and partners in place.
? Create strategy to increase E-commerce activity from a variety of online channels to expand market share.
? Develop acquisition and retention programs for various customer types, particularly within the Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) and Fast Casual Dining (FCD); product segments, retargeting and the like.
? Manage program launches, online marketing programs, and print marketing programs.
? Work with Business Development and Sales to develop lead gen programs and trade show planning and execution.
? Utilize analytics to actively monitor site activity, assessment and shape programs on an ongoing basis, and drive strategic marketing decisions.
? Develop, plan, execute and analyze all direct marketing campaigns, including not limited to landing pages, sponsorship content, acquisition and retention emails and the like. Use previous successes in pay per click, email marketing, website development, partnership development.
? Develop and maintain customer loyalty programs.
? Participate as a strategic partner in the development of the company?s long term plans functionally and organizationally.
? Work directly with the CMO, VP of Human Resources and others to build the function and LA organization in a way that attracts world-class talent ? internal and external.
? Share knowledge and use previous successes to grow the company?s understanding of Marketing and the integral part it plays in building/scaling a company of size and becoming a market leader.
? An accomplished strategic, creative and digital marketer, and business leader. Experience and a proven ability to use a variety of marketing vehicles to drive multi-channel sales
? Minimum of 7 years in a leadership position, managing professionals
? Deep understanding of digital commerce, social networking and mobile platforms. Success in developing and communicating a cohesive marketing strategy across different channels. Built loyalty and community among key consumers via traditional and digital means.
? Strong analytical skills. Expertise in determining key KPIs and in managing programs to achieve expansion of key metrics. Ability to be both highly strategic and distill data into meaningful recommendations
? Self-starter who conveys a sense of urgency, drives issues to closure and knows how to execute and get others to do so
? Proven ability to attract, manage and develop strong teams. Strong balance between ability to lead and a willingness to partner and listen
? Strong influencing skills that will enable him or her to persuade others and be able to execute across external partners
? Chain restaurant experience highly desirable
? Top agency experience highly desirable
