Our product philosophy puts peer support and social influence at the center of the participant experience to enhance the spread of healthy behaviors from person to person.
We have matured from start-up to an industry leading provider in the health and wellness space. In recent months we have released a new product, ShapeUp Complete, to target middle market companies. Complete is a true SaaS offering which can be scaled through distributors and partners. To achieve our growth targets, we are looking for an accomplished sales professional to lead Channel Development efforts.
As VP of Channel Development, your primary responsibilities will be, but not limited to the following:
Develop and execute sales initiatives for channel prospects ? e.g., close big deals with large national distributors
Meet and exceed our goals for aggressive channel revenue
Rapidly build a channel pipeline that can support a multi-million dollar sales target
Exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit allowing you to position ShapeUp?s value appropriately to each type of channel partner
Identify and cultivate executive level relationships with decision makers and influencers at national and top regional channel partners in a consultative sales process
Quarterback a multi-stage sales process by coordinating appropriate internal resources to support product, technology and client services for high volume rollout through new channel partners
Provide accurate, timely forecasting and documentation of channel development process for budgeting and CRM purposes
Stay on top of trends in the healthcare sector bringing insights to the table both internally and with your prospects
Provide market feedback on product capabilities and opportunities to increase stickiness with partners and client administrators
Synthesize market intelligence related to competition, health benefits trends and the changing risk landscape in healthcare market to help ShapeUp with strategic decisions
The ideal candidate:
5-10 years of selling experience
Possess large network of contacts spanning health plans, TPAs, broker/consultants and other benefits related HR providers to hit the ground running
Proven leader who is highly proficient at persuasion and building consensus with internal and external stakeholders
Comfortable presenting to large groups and negotiating with senior executives
Passionate about helping individuals take control of behaviors to improve their health and the health of the people around them
Bachelor?s degree required , MBA preferred
