Responsibilities:
Launch public APIs for both synchronous and asynchronous translation services
Develop and execute a developer-focused strategy to drive strong API adoption with web and mobile developers
Scale VerbalizeIt infrastructure to support a global community of translators conducting high volume synchronous and asynchronous translations via phone, web and mobile
Drive transition of telephony platform from Tropo to Twilio or a custom-built telephony engine capable of supporting large scale global accessibility and world-class SLAs
Requirements:
Proven experience in building large-scale, Ruby on Rails-based software applications and services
Led development of distributed and high-availability software-as-a-service platform(s)
Formulated and implemented a RESTful API strategy for access by varied client applications and services
Attracted, coached, retained and motivated a team of key internal technical resources necessary to define, lead, and manage a company?s core competencies
