Vice President of Human Resources Interactions

We are seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to join us to help build a highly successful, world-class, independent company. This newly created position will allow you the opportunity to help shape Interaction?s future and impact the lives of hundreds of people. The company has identified its employees and unique culture and values as critical success factors. As such the VP HR will be a critical part of the Company?s management and will originate and lead human resources ?best practices? and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high performance culture that is focused on collaboration and customer success.
As the VP of Human Resources you will have responsibility for the overall strategic HR leadership for the company, including the documentation, communication and reinforcement of the company?s values, employee development programs, talent management, compensation structure and employee communications.
Today Interactions has approximately 100 fulltime and 500 part time employees all of whom are located in the United States. However, Interactions is experiencing a period of exponential growth and is in the process of opening international offices.
Specific responsibilities include:
Strategy ? Formulates and recommends Human Resource strategy, programs and policies to align and support the organizations overall business strategy, intended culture and goals.
Consultative ? Serves as internal consultant to company management team, supervisors and employees on personnel issues that affect performance and business relationships.
Organization Design ? Directs process of organizational planning that evaluates structure, job design, and staffing model throughout the company. Makes recommendations to senior management concerning organizational structure and staffing.
Recruitment ? Provides leadership of recruitment by developing the most creative and cost-effective ways of generating high-quality candidates in the marketplace for the company.
Employee Relations ? Establishes and maintains progressive employee relations programs, including but not limited to, job training, recognition, job enrichment programs, employee orientation, and employee counseling.
Learning & Development ? Leads learning and development initiatives to ensure employees are provided opportunities to meet current and future demands of the organization.
Compliance ? Advises management to ensure company compliance with all federal, state and local laws related to EEO, employee benefits, compensation, employment and training.
Compensation and Performance Management ? Oversees performance management and compensation plans including wage and salary administration.
Communication ? Serves as the hub for company wide internal communication strategy.
Benefits ? Oversees the evaluation and implementation of benefit programs to ensure competitive and cost effective plans are available.
Administration ? Manages the administration of benefits (in conjunction with partners), payroll changes, and general HR administrative tasks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor?s degree and 10+ years of related experience. Minimum of 5 years experience in senior human resource management level role. Graduate degree or advanced certification in Human Resource specialty area preferred.
Demonstrated track record of strategic leadership including direct experience to successfully evaluate organizational issues and offer alternatives and creative solutions.
Strong analytical, interpersonal, project management, organizational & communication skills required.
