JOB SUMMARY: The VP, Information Technology will manage the Technology teams responsible for delivery of Clinical Platform Services and Professional Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for building a strong team and executing against a technology platform roadmap defined by a keen understanding of how to grow a business through effective use of technology, vendors and partners. The primary location for this position will be the Health Integrated main office in Tampa, Florida, with infrequent travel required to other corporate offices. Apart from superior technical knowledge and experience, the candidate must possess a clear understanding of how to build a world class infrastructure, with the personal qualities to lead with the highest level of integrity; able to build a strong team and inspire outstanding individual contributions resulting in team success. This position may not conduct any activities that require evaluation or interpretation of clinical information.
Education/License/Certification: Bachelors? degree required. Minimum of 15 years related professional experience, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership role with senior supervisory responsibility.
You must understand networks, servers and storage architectures. Prefer that you have driven a compiler at some point in your not-too-distant past (or have a deep knowledge of the OSI model). Understand how the stack really works. Must have high self-awareness and have built a humble confidence based on a deep understanding of technology, management and communications

Proven experience in the following areas is necessary to thrive in this position:
You must demonstrate you can manage people and motivate employees
Managing and operating a multi-level support organization to maximize service level commitments
Solid understanding of software development methodologies and the nuances of these methodologies as they relate to creating efficiency in the definition, construction and delivery of high quality systems
Experience managing outside vendors and running data center operations in a co-location environment across multiple locations
Disaster recovery, business continuity, information security and data recovery planning
Project management methodologies and techniques for resource optimization
Vendor management and technology budgeting, including OpEx/CapEx planning
Supervisory leadership of resources across multiple locations and time zones
Communication with vendors, customers and senior management regarding plans, goals and budgets
Ability to refine our IT infrastructure roadmap and evangelize it among employees and key stakeholders across the organization to drive continuous improvement.
Provide inspirational and technical leadership to promote a world class, customer-focused IT culture, resulting in improved business performance and team satisfaction.
Cultivate a culture of excellence and continuous improvement with high integrity, while maintaining focus on the corporate hygiene related to process improvement, governance and regulatory compliance. This position requires a dynamic, intelligent leader that understands how to drive positive change and create lasting quality control measurement systems.
Manage a world class, enterprise computing environment and team to support high availability and optimal performance of customer-facing systems and internal operational support systems
Ensure the availability, security, and recoverability of critical system capabilities and corporate data by developing and implementing a comprehensive Disaster Recovery Plan.
Recruit, retain and develop a team of technically gifted and knowledgeable IT professionals to support the needs of a high growth enterprise
Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning, culminating in the annual revision of the business continuity plans and corporate IT roadmaps for improving preparedness and response times during downtime events.
Develop, negotiate and maintain business relationships with key partners/vendors that are necessary to provide services for maintaining IT
Build disciplined teams that own the administration and maintenance of networks, systems and data center components
Create and maintain an annual budget of infrastructure costs and operate the team within budget to achieve pre-defined goals
Lead the adoption and application of industry best practices and standards to achieve cost savings and efficiencies across the technology enterprise.
