Technorati Media is looking for a part time Vice President of Marketing that will lead our innovative and collaborative marketing department in advancing our position as the authority in social media. We are looking for a leader with big, creative ideas, messages and executions to evolve our strategy, help execute and manage our marketing efforts and give guidance to a fantastic marketing team. The role requires ongoing collaboration with all areas of the company: execs, sales, product, adops, network and engineering teams. This is a long term role with flexible part time hours to encourage those with exceptional talent who want a true work life balance opportunity.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage Direct Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Online Marketing, Event Marketing
Manage sales marketing process, procedure and team to create an effective, efficient turn around with high close rate
Create, manage, coordinate and execute all marketing strategies and implement tactical plans that meet and exceed company expectations
Develop benchmark criteria to measure and continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs
Work closely with Sales, Product Development, Engineering and other Senior Executives to create demand and recognition for the Company and its products
Measure the effectiveness of the marketing department and implement improvements as required
Analyze, evaluate, plan and execute both existing and potential marketing activities and strategies
Recruit, coach, mentor, and raise the team?s ability to deliver and exceed expectations while creating opportunities for development
Develop and prepare key messaging and presentation materials for senior management
Requirements
Min. of 8?10 years marketing experience with roles at the senior management level,
Start up experience and adaptability preferred (nimble and not territorial)
Experience marketing in an online media
Passion for the power of social marketing and communications
A track record of driving award winning brand position, definition and communication externally and internally
Strong analytical, planning, forecasting and strategy development skills
History mentoring talented marketing professionals with an eagerness to drive projects and learn from example
The ability to articulate a vision, big ideas and strategy in a way that inspires and motivates a team and focuses their energy on achieving business goals
Graduate Degree in marketing preferred but not a requirement
