ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Define product communication strategy and roadmap
Develop product messaging that articulates and differentiates our offerings in the market
Create product collateral, website product content, webinars, white papers and sales material
Build a strategy for new product releases and communicate launch plan cross-functionally
Conduct market and competitor analysis for the product
Establish a plan to launch and promote products at events
Provide insights and make recommendations which align with short and long term business priorities
Define unmet customer needs through research and customer product reviews
Identify new product definitions and champion new strategies and product development priorities to support company growth objectives
Direct and manage analyst relations. Present the company's technology, vision and value proposition to various analyst, investor and customer audiences.
Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
Effectively develop messaging and positioning, as well as addressing data/support needs
Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
Propose an overall budget to ensure success
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 7+ years experience in active B2C / B2B product marketing
Strong leadership, organizational and budget management skills; Proven ability to build and manage a team
Results oriented team player with excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Technical background, with experience in ecommerce or SaaS preferred
Demonstrated success defining and launching innovative products
Analytical and detail oriented, with relationship-building skills and a passion for superb customer service
Experience marketing in a SaaS model is a plus
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in BA, Marketing, Sales, or related field required
MBA is a plus
