The Vice President of Sales builds and maintains a fast-paced, productive Sales Team that generates revenues and achieves individual, team and company goals. The VP of Sales is a key contributor to the development of a sales strategy that supports the company goals and provides the Sales Team with the tools and guidance needed to achieve individual performance standards. The VP of Sales will lead strategic sales initiatives, accurately forecast revenue and proactively initiate new business.
? Development and ongoing mentoring of Sales Team which includes recruiting, training, setting goals, and managing performance
? Supporting Sales Team by participating and leading in client meetings or engaging other resources
? Coach Sales Team regarding strategies to drive closure
? Consistently monitoring the sales activity of the team, and tracking the results
? Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to penetrate existing accounts and generate business in new accounts
? 7+ years of combined sales experience as both an individual contributor and in a management role.
? Previous success running teams in a SaaS sales environment
? Proven experience building successful Sales teams
? Proven experience creating performance standards and motivating Sales Team to meet them
