Casenet?s Product Marketing Vice President provides all product marketing support and material to the internal sales, marketing, and business development teams, as well as to external parties such as prospects, partners, and analysts. The team is highly focused on the successful messaging and positioning of Casenet?s products and brand, competitive research and positioning, and understands the detailed reasons behind Casenet?s wins and losses. The team also manages the design and implementation of internal projects that affect the way that Casenet sells and takes products and solutions to market.
The Product Marketing Vice President has a clear understanding of the care management markets and utilizes this knowledge to support all of the primary responsibilities. To thrive in this role, the Product Marketing Vice President will provide expertise in performing quantitative data analysis, exhibit outstanding writing skills, be a dynamic and confident presenter, and be an efficient project manager to manage internal projects while meeting tight timelines.
The Product Marketing Vice President will have a close and constant working relationship with the team leader of Product Marketing and will engage frequently with Marketing, Sales, Sales Enablement, Business Development, Product Management, and Corporate Development. This position works both regionally and globally across the organization to develop positioning, messaging, collateral and sales enablement materials. To keep Casenet ahead of the market, the Product Marketing Vice President?s focus and priorities will vary regularly and be directed accordingly.
Market Insights: Collect market data to share with Business Development and Product Management. Work with Business Development to produce quantitative analysis covering market size, growth rate, distribution channels, market trends, competitor information, and key success factors.
Competition: Competitive analysis at a detailed level of technology, strategy, and positioning. Conduct internal briefings on the market state and equip Marketing, Sales, and Business Development to beat the competition.
Positioning: Develop and distribute on-going marketing, positioning and communications strategy for customers and partners that differentiate Casenet?s products, solutions, and services and develop a competitive positioning strategies for current and future market offerings.
Value Proposition: Develop and maintain market-oriented value propositions for target markets, industries, and our products, solutions, and services based on target customers and buyer personas.
Presentations: Present corporate level presentations and represent Casenet at industry trade events and internal events (such as our user conference).
Sales Engagement: Provide strategic and tactical support for Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, and Business Development including operational analysis, staff training, participation in major account sales calls, and product requirement workshops.
This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
?Minimum 5+ years enterprise Healthcare software industry experience
?Pragmatic Marketing program and/or Inspired Product Marketing experience desired
?Exposure to sales, product management, and marketing
?Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
?Strong understanding of customer needs and objectives
?Effective, clear, and concise presentation skills
?Solid understanding of social media outlets including LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Industry Blogs
?Ability to maintain excellent colleague and peer relationships
?Degree in Nursing or Business-related discipline. MBA an advantage
?Willingness to travel, as the job requires (estimated at 10% to 20%)
