Overview
Based in Voxiva?s Washington DC Headquarters, the Vice President of Product Marketing will have the responsibility of developing, implementing, and maintaining marketing and product plans reinforcing Voxiva?s vision and road map, addressing US Health Plans, Health Care Providers, Public Health Organizations, channels and end consumers.
This is a senior role in the organization, reporting to the CEO and working closely with the executive team members from the company?s various functional departments. Additionally, this role will support Voxiva?s partner organizations in developing and promoting the various product and service offerings. This role?s initial responsibilities shall include both the marketing and management of Voxiva?s flagship products: text4baby (pregnancy education), text4kids (childhood development), text2quit (smoking cessation), care4life (type 2 diabetes care) and txt4health (wellness).
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of a comprehensive strategic marketing and product plan;
Build the Voxiva brand and maximize market visibility;
Oversee product lifecycle from concept through proposal, sales, and usage;
Manage the product P&L?s;
Manage partner organizations and major marketing programs;
Collect and analyze market data from internal and external sources to produce quantitative analysis covering market size, growth rate, profitability, industry cost structures, distribution channels, market trends, competitor information, and key success factors;
Identify customer needs and translate those into a product roadmap for the sales organization;
Seek out and incorporate customer and user feedback into market and product requirements;
Develop an ongoing marketing, positioning and communications strategy for health plan customers, public health organizations, healthcare providers and end users that differentiate product offerings;
Support related annual budgeting and planning processes.
Qualifications
8-14 years of relevant experience;
Hands-on experience marketing healthcare IT related products and services;
BA/BS degree; MBA or relevant Master?s Degree preferred;
Knowledge of, and interest in the US healthcare market, trends and business needs;
Understanding of the EHR/PHR, Interactive Patient Care, Disease Management and or Mobile Healthcare industries strongly preferred;
Ability to quickly learn, along with a positive, energetic attitude and personal drive;
Ability to perform the full breadth of marketing tasks: from quantitative statistical research, to price elasticity studies, to budget planning, to product strategy development, to communications development, etc?;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to travel domestically up to 10% of the time;
Demonstrated management and organizational skills, along with the behavioral ability to lead by example.
