Vice President, Sales and Business Development, Content Service Providers BTI Photonic Systems Inc.
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Reporting to the SVP, Americas, Sales, the Vice President, Sales and Business Development, Content Service Providers (CSP's) will be responsible for developing, directing and executing BTI's CSP sales strategy based on both current and future product offerings.
This position will be responsible for driving top line results, develop the sales strategy, lead all CSP sales activities and deliver quarterly revenue objectives. This individual will be creating a compelling vision and mission that inspires action and links the vision to the Company's value proposition and product offerings. He/she will be a leader in the organization, and mentor to a strong team of sales professionals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:? Drive all sales and business development related activities within the CSP accounts vertical.
Provide thought leadership to build high impact relationships in target CSP customers and drive exposure in target space
Serve as principal CSP sales/business advisor to SVP Sales, SVP PLM and the CEO
Develop and orchestrate innovative sales and market initiatives to expand business in target markets
Continually refine the corporate strategy with a global perspective; ensure that corporate priorities and action plans are clear and that the company is on-track to achieve its strategic objectives
Leadership and Management - Hire and lead the sales team throughout the regions.
Work with Corporate BD and PLM on strategy and business development for CSP space and value proposition
Assist with Corporate BD and PLM on partnerships that add value to BTI's Cloud Networking solution
Maintenance of forecasting via company CRM, Salesforce.com
Drive continuous improvement in performance across team and ensure consistent, fair, and effective performance management.
Leverage existing Rolodex and client relationships to help close sales opportunities
Proven experience in identifying, negotiating, and executing successful campaign in target customer base

Technical capabilities to be able to articulate the BTI Value Proposition to credibly discuss in the context of the Web 2.0, cloud and data center networking industry.BA/BS required
Minimum 5-7 year sales leadership experience.
Minimum 7-10 years of a history of consistent over-achievement sales goals in a direct sales model.
Layer 3 experience preferred but not required
Successful experience in selling to key CSP accounts such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Equinix, Rackspace, Twitter, etc.
