The Vice President, Support and Extended Services is accountable for the overall leadership and direction of Brightree?s Customer Support operations, and is also responsible for oversight of the Extended Services Implementation teams. The areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to: customer satisfaction and support service delivery, new product deployment, and revenue and resource management related to areas in span of control. In this leadership role, the Vice President will partner with and act as the liaison between other Brightree operating units, including Sales, Professional Services, Product Management, Finance, Marketing, and Technology while overseeing the implementation of numerous existing and future Brightree products, including support and direction of Connect, Document Management, POD, Pharmacy, eClaims, Electronic Fax, Eligibility, ePurchasing, Order Fulfillment, POS, Credit Card, API, Order Import Bridge, Brightship, and U-Sleep. This hands-on VP will have extensive experience in high-transactional, complex, client- facing software environments and will draw on past experiences in similar software leadership roles.
Success as a VP, Support and Extended Services includes developing and fostering inter-departmental relationships between Sales, Product Management, Development, and Operations; owning the relationships with our external business partners; and being a hand-on leader to a group of ten or more direct reports who are responsible for the implementation and support of new and existing services for our customers.
? The successful Vice President Support and Extended Services is both a hands-on leaders and a strategic visionary, able to drive strategy development and delivery in a critical environment.
? An effective communicator, the VP, Support and Extended Services possesses a demonstrated ability to conceive, construct and advance business and technology solutions from infancy to viability.
? Substantial leadership competencies, and an exceptional relationship manager and collaborator.
? This role is accountable for a multi-million dollar investment budget and associated resources.
? Experience managing Support in progressive software organizations, with roles of increasing responsibility.
? Expertise in IT development, integration, delivery, and customer support, including several years at the Director or Vice President level within a corporate group or business unit.
? Minimum of 10 years of leadership and budget management combined with current knowledge of technology, compliance and trends in a relevant industry - all at large-scale.
? Bachelor's degree in business or a technical discipline (computer science or engineering, management information systems or related fields).
? Strong and proven senior IT business leader who can drive success by applying past experiences to the Extended Services and Customer Service teams.
? Able to assist management team with personnel decisions (performance, hires, and terminations)
