Vice President, Technical Solutions The Rubicon Project

Rubicon Project is seeking a Vice President ? Technical Solutions to join our team based in NY, LA or SF to build and lead a Technical Solutions organization. As the Vice President of Technical Solutions, you will manage a team that possesses exceptional technical, analytical and communication skills to handle Rubicon Project?s clients and prospects. You will be responsible for building and leading a new Technical Solutions Organization to drive customer acquisition, implementation, training, support and retention through a world-class service delivery model across our Automation Cloud. This role will oversee successful growth and management of key client accounts along with the development and implementation of new methodologies and processes to ensure effective and scalable delivery of our solutions.
The VP, Technical Solutions will work closely with our Sales & Account team to design, present and deploy client solutions, Product & Engineering to develop custom solutions and our Product Marketing team to inform and build upon on all of Rubicon Project?s solutions.

Become a subject matter expert in the usage, features and benefits of Rubicon Project Solutions and effectively communicate client experience requirements to the product and engineering teams.
Be an expert user with respect to Rubicon Project platform / various partner platforms.
Technical Account Management
Work closely with Rubicon Project clients to design and scope effective solutions to address client needs.
Serve as technical escalation point to ensure total client satisfaction.
Troubleshooting of client requests including campaign performance, delivery, demand and supply questions, scalability, and partner integration.
Manage and optimize a large, varied, and changing portfolio of project
Supervise the Technical Solutions team to provide excellent client support, implementations and training.
Understand client pain points and requirements and implement best practices in solution design and scope.
Design creative, practical solutions to non-standard client requirements and continue to build upon a repository of best practices and root cause analysis.
Work cross functionally with Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering and Sales to create and implement innovative client solutions.
Establish a consistent and collaborative Rubicon Project presence and act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients; escalate, track and solve client issues.
Support sales in conducting platform presentations/demoes, clearly illustrating how Rubicon Project?s products meet client needs and communicate our overall value proposition that best satisfies a prospect/client?s needs.
Partner with clients to understand end clients? business goals, marketing objectives, and competitive constraints.
Responsible for representing Rubicon Project?s Marketing Automation Cloud to customers and field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs. Lead on-site and remote client trainings, strategy and status meetings.
B.A. or B.S. in a quantitative or technical field (e.g. math, statistics, computer science, etc.) and/or sufficiently strong academic credentials
Minimum of 10 years of experience in senior level leadership in client services, technology consulting, project management or similar experience in a SaaS (Software as a Service) environment; comfortable working with enterprise level clients
Experience in the ad tech sector is preferred
Strong consultative sales skills, personable, charismatic, solutions oriented, creative thinker
Strong understanding of advanced digital campaign management, tagging, and reporting
Experience leading projects to implement change and process improvements
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed targets at top performing companies
Strong communication and client facing skills and ability to work with both technical and business stakeholders
Extremely comfortable in a fast-paced environment that requires excellent time-management and the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
Demonstrate ability to rapidly learn complex technology solutions and then train others on those same systems
Have experience leading teams on multiple full life cycle implementations of complex, full-suite products or large scale consulting engagements
Competent in process development, execution, and administration
Must be able to travel 30-40% of the time (frequent day trips, semi-regular overnights and international travel will be required)
