Polygon is looking for a full time Director and Editor in the New York City area who will be responsible for shooting, capturing and editing videos. You will be joining a team that has both a love for video games as well as hunger for working hard to push the expectations of video in the news and features space. The ideal candidate should be able to shoot and edit a video on their own as well as be able to work with the team to cover larger events. This job's for a one-person-army, a self-starter.After Effects and motion graphics experience is heavily valued.

Responsibilities:
Shooting / editing hands on and review videos
Shooting / editing interviews
Working with the features team to create documentaries
Shooting / editing on the fly at conventions
Qualifications:
Based in New York City
Experienced documentary style shooter, must be able to show work
Experienced editor, must be able to show work
Experience with Final Cut Pro 7 or Premier Pro (we use both)
Experience with After Effects
Ability to work quickly and self-start
Love of games
