We are looking for engineers and who are top hands-on coders and quick-learners. This is a unique opportunity to work with Anvato?s R&D team, located in Mountain View, to develop next generation live encoding and on-demand video products.
Required Skills
A BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from a top engineering school (or equivalent combination of education and experience). No exceptions.
PhD/MS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from a top engineering school.
Expert in C, C++.
Real time/live video encoding, decoding, streaming software development expertise.
Software-based video encoding (e.g., ffmpeg, libavcodec, custom video library development).
MPEG transport understanding, H.264 and similar codecs.
Experience with the following topics is a plus:
Knowledge of Linux development environment and open source tools/platforms.
Video watermarking and fingerprinting is a plus.
