Communispace seeks a Video/Production Intern to join our in-house Design team. This creative and collaborative position will work closely with our video editors, assisting in all aspects of pre-production, production and post-production. Responsibilities will include shooting live events and presentations, editing, assisting in coordination/scheduling of video shoots and providing overall production support for client-facing and internal initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or working toward a Bachelor Degree in Film or a related major. One year of work or relevant internship experience
Ability to execute on all aspects of video production (shooting, lighting, audio, editing)
Strong editorial eye and expert knowledge of Final Cut 7, Adobe Premiere Suite (CS5), After Effects
Exceptional communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment, under pressure of tight deadlines, and on multiple projects simultaneously
Detail oriented and a quick learner
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Animation experience, print production and PowerPoint knowledge a big plus
Great sense of humor a must!
Comfortable interacting with senior executives
Must include a link to a reel to be considered
Note: This is a 32-40 hour a week paid intern position. This is a position that could transition into a full-time permanent role. We are not seeking freelancers for this role.
