Tilera?s massively parallel manycore processors are so cool they?re in hot demand and they are uniquely architected to deliver leading edge video solutions to the videoconferencing and cloud transcoding markets.As a Video Applications Engineer, you are challenged with projects like building a framework for objective measurement of video quality, identifying and implementing codec enhancements to our existing H.264 codebase and leading the architecture and software development of an optimized HEVC implementation on our Tile- Gx processors.
You will also implement streaming video solutions on our processors and inter-operate with the most popular consumer devices like iPads, iPhones and Androids. You will serve as the focal point for customer engagements on video codecs and have the opportunity to present our advanced capabilities at the highest engineering levels within top OEM system companies.
We are seeking a top-notch video algorithm expert to join our Software Applications team in Silicon Valley to address critical challenges like defining quality metrics, implementing test patterns that uncover video quality issues quickly and finding solutions to address these challenges.
