Visual Design Contractor UpTake

UpTake is seeking a contract web visual designer who can work with a start up on a significant UI improvement. The candidate will excel at taking our existing wire frames that define the basic functions and user experience and make them effectively communicate in line with company branding guidelines and identity, in an intuitive and clean' design that communicates structure and hierarchy with a less is more' philosophy.
Candidate should have considerable consumer web experience at high traffic web sites, creating intuitive, simple designs; work quickly, and be a team player who is able to make recommendations and respond to feedback.
We are looking for a designer who can commit to about 15 hours / week through year end and then about 12 hours a month for Jan and Feb. Our candidate has to be able to come into our Palo Alto office as needed for face-to-face collaboration.
