The Visual Designer will report directly to the Head of Creative and work together with a talented and motivated team of Designers to create fluid e-commerce solutions and effective interactive experiences. We are looking for a top-notch designer who can push the limits of design, think outside of the box, and have a solid understanding of user experience. This person should also have some solid mobile project work under his/her belt and have a passion for mobile design.
The Visual Designer will help define new e-commerce concepts, shopping tools, and user experience from initial concept to final implementation and have experience working on large-scale projects involving complex IA and interaction design, with some experience particularly in mobile.
The ideal candidate is self-driven and will be responsible in the creative process from concept to final implementation.
Responsibilities:
? Design visually attractive interfaces and web pages based on principles of design and usability with a focus on mobile projects and initatives
? Look for ways to evolve the user experience in the form of smart design solutions and new user interactions, particularly for mobile
? Work collaboratively with UX, product, and engineering to ensure design concepts are delivered according to concept
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent in graphic design or web design
3 + years experience in interactive design, with 1+ years mobile design experience
Expert understanding of graphic design, layout and typography
Fundamental understanding of GUI design and intuitive navigation schemes
Strong understanding of User Interface and UX Design.
Strong understanding of mobile
Strong production skills
Highly proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
Working knowledge of HTML a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and to keep abreast of innovative design trends and technologies.
Strong communication and presentation skills required
