VLSI Engineer - Job# 1171 Dust Networks

Introduction:

Dust Networks is now looking for a VLSI Engineer to join a small team designing ultra low-power SoC digital/analog/RF circuits for wireless mesh networking systems. The designer will work closely with other IC engineers, systems engineers, software engineers, and hardware engineers in the creation of complex DSP oriented solutions in deep sub-micron mixed signal system designs.

This position is at Dust Networks corporate offices in Hayward, California.


Qualifications:

The candidate should have experience in design, infrastructure development and embedded software development. In addition the candidate must be driven and have strong communications and problem solving skills.

Education: BSEE or MSEE.

Experience: 2+ years of professional experience designing VLSI integrated circuits is a must.

Skills: Qualified candidates must have experience with Verilog, C, and system level micro-architectural design. Experience in PERL, MatLab, synthesis, low power system design, system level hardware design, analog design, RF design, and design for manufacture are highly valued.

The VLSI Engineer will have responsibilities for:

System architecture;
Micro-architecture;
Design;
Verification;
Validation;
Debug; and
Interaction with ATE test development and product engineering.
