The VP, Admissions will provide executive leadership and direction to our inside sales/admissions teams. He/she will oversee the execution of the sales process, interact with business unit General Managers to achieve sales success, administer University Admissions relationships and ensure internal/external sales goals are met. The desired candidate will be responsible for driving sales through retail channels across existing programs as well as leading high-performing teams.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Lead inside sales & admissions teams for existing 2U programs to achieve desired sales goals for all domestic and international markets
Accountability for hiring, on-boarding, training, directing, developing and managing performance of the sales & admissions organization
Develop and implement strategies, processes and success metrics for sales & admissions organization
Assess and recommend new sales channel opportunities and partnerships
Work with business unit General Managers to set and achieve University business goals
Partner with University admissions counterparts to ensure effective relationship development, operational processes, communications and sales success
Work with internal leaders and teams, such as Marketing, Enrollment Services and Post-Enrollment services, to ensure efficient and effective student relationship management
Work with Sales Operations and Technology teams to ensure that Sales Support Applications & Platforms meet evolving efficiency, scalability and productivity requirements
Act as motivator, mentor and leader to ensure high morale and performance of sales team
Serve as coach, leader, support structure or judge to maintain sales culture and performance
Proactively identify new opportunities & risks, assess options and take appropriate actions to ensure growth, scalability, and sustainability of admissions mission
Serve as role model to maintain a professional, consultative sales approach as University brand stewards, delivering highly informed, qualified, and motivated student applicants
Things That Should Be in Your Background:
Minimum of 10+ years proven success leading and motivating sales team across multiple channels/lines of business
Proven ability to drive results in a high-energy, fast paced environment
Graduate level degree preferred
Demonstrated expertise in Business concepts, practices, procedures
