With this success in hand the company has created a new position VP, Advertising Sales based in NYC to open up the important Northeast Region for the company.

As a key member of the sales leadership team, this position will report to Jim Harvey, Appia?s SVP Advertising. This is a great ground-floor opportunity for someone that is excited to build up the largest market opportunity where the bulk of large agency and media company relationships exist. And, as Appia has already made great progress in customer acquisition, this role will also assume responsibility for at least three of Appia?s top 10 advertiser clients. Ideally, the candidate will have contributed in the recent past to the success of a leading mobile/digital advertising company where s/he developed the key skills to be successful in this role:
Sales DNA - revenue generation/client acquisition/deal making
Respected customer relationship management - longstanding, mutually beneficial relationships built and nurtured over time.
A keen eye to the evolving mobile advertising ecosystem and passion about the role apps have in driving the future
This role requires a sales leader who is excited about the prospect of both finding new clients for Appia and working closely with them to help promote their apps and acquire profitable new users across our distribution channels. It is ideally suited for a thoughtful and creative executive who can identify processes to monetize Appia?s reach and traffic - constantly improving customer engagement, revenues and ROI through our performance based advertising services.
A proven sales executive with an 8+ year track record of selling digital solutions to agencies, media companies, and/or application developers

A demonstrated ability to influence/advocate both internally and externally
