The Vice President of Business Process Consulting is a senior leadership role that will be leading teams to identify, shape and deliver high value transformation programs to respond to our clients? strategic business challenges. The position includes consulting on process improvement, redesign, automation and overall work flow efficiency. This role will develop strong client relationships, qualify opportunities and manage programs and their delivery through multidisciplinary teams to achieve key business outcomes.
The Vice President of Business Process Consulting will work under the direction of the SVP of Professional Services and in conjunction with the Business Process Consulting Practice Lead and the client?s Market Leader. The Market Leader has ultimate client growth responsibility and will work in a collaborative effort with the Consultant to broaden our client value. This role has direct responsibility for working with the SVP Professional Services and assigned Practice Leads to help direct the build out of the tools, artifacts, best practices and other attributes that lead to the sustained growth of the Practice.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identifies business development opportunities that are aligned with client agenda and develops compelling business case / responses to new business opportunities.
Shape and Lead Business Transformation Programs
Leads research and analysis activities to identify and prioritize client creation opportunities based on the understanding of client high level visions, performance gaps and needs.
Shapes and leads the business solution implementation: defining and supervising business architecture, process design and development activities, driving the development of capabilities and performance measurements/KPIs.
Develops implementation programs to execute project deliverables to schedule, budget and performance goals.
Assesses and manages risk throughout the project lifecycle making adjustments as needed.
Ensures planned business outcomes are achieved.
Defines clients structural and organizational changes needed and oversees the preparation for client deployment.
Constructs and implements the program?s overall communication strategy.
Client Relationship Development and Management
Develops trusted senior level relationships with clients, target clients and internal experts, qualifying opportunities and negotiating complex solutions.
Facilitates stakeholder engagement programs.

Bachelor?s degree; Master?s degree preferred
Six Sigma or certified project management certification
10+ years of experience consulting with health plans
10+ years of experience in health plan operations
Business Process and Change Management experience
Understanding of core Healthcare technology applications and concepts
Ability to build strong relationships with client
Must be able to sit and use a computer keyboard for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs without assistance
Must have ability to positively handle/manage stress, such as high work volume and frequent change
Travel ? opportunity dependent, expected 40% -60%
Must have flexibility and willingness to participate in the work processes of an international organization, including conference calls scheduled to accommodate global time zones.
After hours / weekend work required where necessary for major deliverables / deadlines (not consistent)
