VP Cloud Business Development Vormetric
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Vormetric is looking for an experienced, strategic, hands-on, sales-oriented, and driven business development leader to execute on our cloud strategy and achieve design wins and incremental revenue with cloud service providers. This critical role will be responsible for shaping cloud partner strategy, recruiting and managing partners and ensuring achievement of revenue and partner success. This leader will have responsibility for Vormetric?s cloud business and work closely with the executive team to ensure success of the cloud strategy. The ability to evolve the strategy, target the right cloud providers, build executive relationships and drive partner success is critical. Ultimately, the candidate will be expected to create real and measurable business results.
The VP Cloud Business Development will report directly to the CEO.
Desired Skills & Experience
Direct experience driving business development with leading cloud service providers
Experience with the cloud business model
Track record of revenue accountability, pipeline development, and translating pipeline to business
Understands the dynamics of the cloud service provider market Articulate, provide ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, enterprise customers, and cloud service providers
Sales/marketing orientation, with an understanding of cloud technology and cloud business models
Success in firms selling high value software/appliances to large cloud service providers and IT outsourcing providers
Has experience structuring sophisticated transactions that are often customized to meet the specific needs of the service provider being served
