Job Description
The VP, Compliance is responsible for overseeing all compliance related activities for the organization.
Oversees the development, implementation, coordination, and monitoring of all compliance related activities for the organization to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
Ensures a multifaceted education and training programs to ensure that all appropriate employees and management are knowledgeable of, and comply with, pertinent regulations and policies. Develops and oversees the implementation of programs which encourage employees to report suspected fraud, improprieties, or other compliance violations without fear of retaliation.
Develops and oversees the execution of compliance relates audits and/or investigations such as responding to ?hot-line? calls, suspected violations, routine internal compliance review and monitoring of applicable departments, etc.
Coordinates the implementation of sanctions and/or risk mitigation plans related to departments, providers, sub-providers, agents, and/or independent contractors which violate compliance regulations and/or policies.
Reports to executive leadership and compliance committee on a routine basis. Ensures key stakeholders are apprised of the progress of implementations, fraud, waste or abuse vulnerabilities, and any other key compliance activities.

Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and practice management software.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or experience in lieu of a degree required.
Master's in Business Admiration preferred.
15+ years of related compliance experience. Experience with healthcare operations highly desirable.
5+ years leading an enterprise-wide compliance program required.
