VP, Data Licensing and Partnership Development AddThis
The Vice President of Data Licensing and Partnership Development is responsible for developing and growing new and current data licensing partner revenue world-wide. This individual will be at the forefront of expanding the AddThis data monetization business and will work with leading companies in the online advertising and targeted vertical markets of Content Marketing, Marketing Automation, CRM , DMP/DSP platforms, Portals and complementary on and offline data aggregation companies.
Leading the Data Sales and Distribution team to develop and close new data distribution and partnership agreements with prospective partners in the targeted verticals
Utilize established client contacts/ rolodex of prospects to identify, initiate progress and close relationships with select prospects in the target markets
Conduct competitive analysis and research to define and prioritize data and analytics requirements to support new scalable revenue opportunities
Set strategic and tactical client engagement plans for prospect and existing customers
Collaborate to develop Go to Market approaches and unique product, packaging and pricing for Addthis data products and capabilities
Work with Finance and Sr. Mgmt to develop and refine data pricing and monetization strategies
Ensure high quality execution of client support with partners and clients; oversee resolution of business and integration issues with partners to support satisfaction to ensure recurring revenue and renewal
Monitor and analyze partner performance to identify and implement optimization opportunities
Methodically reinforce and communicate value of AddThis data products with clients
Develop and execute plans to exceed quarterly and annual revenue and profit targets. Create and maintain reporting, forecasting models, and other analysis tools to support profitable growth
Build strong internal relationships across departments
Execute in a fast-paced, team environment
12+ years of experience in digital media and/or advertising technology or marketing related data products.
Demonstrated ability to create and drive revenue generating opportunities Strong experience with recognized leaders in the digital advertising and /or marketing domain and ideally the data industry
Proven track record of easily and rapidly building partner and client relationships that yield sustainable revenue
Experience closing revenue opportunity for new clients and growing existing account revenue
Excellent problem solving skills especially in marketing and data solutions; agility to diagnose and solve client problems by applying product solutions
Understanding of the use of data and the complexities of the marketing data ecosystem; comfortable with data technology and analytics applied for business outcomes in the target verticals
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate the ?big picture? and also drill down to supporting details.
Excellent at multi-tasking and close attention to detail is a must.
Comfortable working with multi-disciplinary teams and balancing competing priorities.
Ability to thrive in a fast paced startup environment working.
Pro-active, independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude.
Existing relationships and experience working with known major accounts in one or more of the target verticals
