VP, Data Research Collective

This role will be responsible for all of Collective 3rd party data partnerships and research relationships. You will be responsible for creating and launching a pipeline of new targeting and measurement products. This role requires expertise in online media research and online targeting data; strong experience in negotiating contracts; key industry relationships; and knowledge of the needs of brand advertisers. You will be responsible for responding to client targeting and measurement needs with solutions and for working closely with strategic data and research partners to maintain and grow productive partnerships. You will manage two small teams, and establish KPIs for managing these functions. In order to differentiate Collective, you will constantly be developing new solutions to meet the emerging needs of clients, or to take advantage of emerging capabilities. You will be responsible for communicating new capabilities to clients, through client meetings and through educating our sales forces.

Leading Collectives data and research efforts to support the marketing and media goals of Fortune 500 brands, and managing a critical asset for Collective
Managing two teams: data and research
Managing relationships with 30+ data and research providers
Maintaining and growing a portfolio of online targeting and research capabilities
Communicating the value of these offerings to clients and sales teams
Maintaining KPIs for managing the data and research functions
Developing and launching new targeting and ad effectiveness offerings
Speaking at industry events and contributing to Collectives market presence
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years experience negotiating contracts
Minimum 3 years of online media experience
Minimum 10 years experience in media, market research, data, or marketing
Minimum 3 years experience managing teams
BA required; MBA a plus.
