VP, Digital Marketing RecycleBank
JOB SUMMARY
This position has strategic oversight of the full digital marketing group for Recyclebank and leads all day-to-day strategic and tactical aspects of the Recyclebank marketing function across all digital channels, including Recyclebank website, email and social media. This person would own and be the primary advocate for the overall member experience across the Recyclebank digital properties. The VP of Digital Marketing would also partner with the Product Management group to help develop, prioritize, enhance and implement key initiatives to improve upon the overall member experience. This person would also identify and manage external vendors necessary to provide key services to deliver on the member experience, including potential agency partners and marketing solutions providers. This person would be a senior member of the organization, part of the Global Leadership Team and report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Lead the development and execution of digital member engagement initiatives ? in effect, being the ?owner of the member experience? ? overseeing coordination of all integrated digital marketing channels (e.g., social media, email, content, etc.) to drive optimal member engagement.
Manage the overall member lifecycle ? from point of registration, to onboarding, and on-going engagement on Recyclebank.com as well as other digital assets.
Develop and implement overall marketing plan & calendar by taking into account key member desires, community needs as well as advertising/sponsor opportunities.
Leverage data and insights from Analytics team to make data-driven changes and improvements in overall marketing programs (digital acquisition & retention) and monitor the success of programs over time.
Partner with other marketing functions (e.g., community & direct marketing, creative team, corporate communications, etc.) to ensure that Recyclebank?s digital strategy is in line with both overall company goals as well as the broader marketing strategy.
Drive the highest possible impact on the business through the evaluation and continual refinement of team priorities and optimization of the digital marketing budget.
Provide strong leadership and management skills to grow and mentor digital marketing team. This includes providing the team with the necessary strategic direction, tools/resources, and feedback to create a best-in-class team of marketing professionals.
Continue to build-out effective marketing partners and vendors to enhance internal team competencies and provide best-in-class marketing strategy and execution capabilities.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
8-10 years of experience in digital marketing field.
5+ years of experience managing direct-to-consumer digital campaigns, in area of sustainability and/or behavior change a plus.
Bachelor's degree in marketing; MBA or advanced degree in marketing or a related field strongly preferred.
Creative and strategic thinker who has a long track record of identifying and executing on successful digital, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Passion for overall member experience and for implementing effective & persuasive communication strategies.
