The VP of Engineering is responsible for helping establish and then executing the company?s technical vision and leading all aspects of the company?s technology development and technology operations. The VPE needs to both manage a team of 40 employees (including offshore resources) across a range of functions including Development, QA, Release Management, Architecture, SaaS operations, Product Management and Support, and provide overall technical leadership for the company?s SaaS platform. The VPE is a member of Company?s senior management team, playing an integral role in the company?s strategic direction, development, and future growth.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the team through the on-shoring and reorganization process currently underway in Duluth, Georgia and reenergize Company?s entire technology function to increase productivity, flexibility and morale.
While working with the Product Marketing team, increase the effectiveness of the architecture and product management resources to ensure the product direction and key investments are focused appropriately on significant market opportunities.
Establish a strategic vision for Hub architecture with the Chief Architect.
Drive an overall improvement in product stability, scalability, performance, supportability, and serviceability.
Integrate technology and support teams much more closely with its key internal customers and into the broader organization.
Anticipate and react to major technology changes to ensure the maintenance of company leadership in the competitive landscape.

Required Skills:
15+ years in engineering
5+ years in executive-level role
Delivered SaaS or managed-services-driven software for business applications or advertising (with quality and scalability high enough to pass the stringent testing of very large enterprises).
Effectively managed infrastructure/operations for high scale environments.
Senior, successful role in scaling at least one growth company (e.g., driving from $10MM revenue towards $50MM).
Experience with a variety of engineering organization frameworks and development processes, including Agile development, C# and .NET.
