We are seeking another talented individual to join our family!
As the VP of Global Sales, you will be responsible for leading and directing a sales team to meet/exceed sales revenue, sales profitability and budgetary objectives. As a key member of the senior management team, this role involves strategic planning, managing people,selling, leveraging technology and improving processes.
Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Strategy and Measurements
Create and execute the sales department go-to-market and operational strategies to achieve business objectives. Participate with other senior managers in developing strategy for the entire company,determine and monitor the department?s key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue vs. plan, contact rate, quote closure rate and gross profit percentage. Anticipate and react quickly to trends and changes in performance. Develop and manage sales department budgets.
Direct and manage sales department employees. Hire, supervise, develop and mentor sales directors. Indirectly supervise sales managers and sales representatives. Develop and implement employee performance management programs. Pparticipate in corporate succession planning activities, write and deliver employee reviews, keep close tabs on employee morale and create a positive working environment.
Assist with complex sales negotiations, attend sales presentations and help close sales deals. Directly manage very large, high-profile customer accounts, as appropriate. Help develop sales proposals and responses to request for proposals (RFPs). Develop and oversee a sales training program for new and existing employees. Ensure sales employees are equipped with the product, system and selling-skills training that they require to be successful. Partner with marketing to develop lead generation and revenue generation programs, and to create high performing sales collateral.
Continually improve the effectiveness of the sales organization and enhance productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction. Oversee and drive adoption of sales technology including customer relationship management (CRM) and a sales intranet. Partner with information technology leaders to identify and implement new technology and improve existing technology based on business needs. Develop, document and enforce sales policies, standard operating procedures and best practices. Streamline sales processes.
