The VP of Marketing will be responsible for the Company's marketing strategy, branding, product marketing, demand generation, corporate communications and social media strategies and programs. This position will work closely with Portfolio Management, Product Management, Sales and Professional Services to ensure that the organization's message is implemented across all channels.
Key Duties / Responsibilities

Responsible for planning and coordinating the organization's marketing activities; with opportunities for developing creative and innovative solutions.
Responsible for translating business goals and market insights into effective marketing strategies that deliver measurable impact on revenue for all product lines.
Responsible for Company brand awareness and identity through various portals; including but not limited to web, publications and other marketing opportunities.
Leads ongoing efforts around brand tracking, audience segmentation, behaviors and insights.
Leads demand generation efforts through online and offline marketing activities for the company's products and services in support of the strategic marketing plan and ongoing sales related activities.
Oversees the development of all product collateral and sales tools.
Leads a team to identify high impact marketing opportunities and manage the creative and messaging of campaigns.
Leads a team of marketing professionals to develop, plan and lead strong presence at relevant global and regional trade shows.
Responsible for day-to-day marketing operations.
Manages external communications plans to promote products and services consistently across all markets and geographies.
Follows HCHC policy and procedures for media inquiries and public relations.
Education & Knowledge Required
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field. MBA preferred.
Extensive knowledge of the development of marketing initiatives and strategy.
Experience / Skills / Abilities Required
Min 12 years total experience; 5-7 years in a senior leadership role.
Experience in education products and services industry preferred.
Experience with brand development, redevelopment and expansion into new and different markets.
Sees ahead clearly; can anticipate future consequences and trends accurately; has broad knowledge and perspective; is future orientated, can articulate visions of possibilities and likelihoods; can create competitive and breakthrough strategies and plans.
Experience with multi channel marketing.
Excellent leadership, management and team building skills.
Expertise and success using aggressive and innovative product and brand marketing strategies to grow a business.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Proactively identifies ways to measure effectiveness of campaigns, promotions and communications.
