VP, Marketing Nitro PDF Software
Nitro is an exciting, high-growth company in the rapidly-evolving digital documents space. We?re looking for an experienced leader to help take our global marketing and branding efforts to the next level.
As VP, Marketing, you will be responsible for establishing a world-class marketing organization with complete ownership of and responsibility for all strategy, tactics, and programs to create awareness, interest, and demand for Nitro and its products and ultimately, boost the company's key revenue and growth objectives.
Our ideal candidate is a passionate B2B/B2C tech marketer, preferably with strong freemium model and SaaS experience, who is genuinely excited about building brands, engaging audiences, and driving business results. We?re looking for a strategic thinker, a creator, a doer, and most importantly, a great leader.
In this role, you will oversee and manage:
Nitro?s global marketing strategy, including team, budget, and all related KPIs
All branding and communication initiatives including overarching messaging and positioning, content strategy, creative, PR, corporate comms, social, and community
Market and customer research, including customer and user segmentation strategies and tactics
All inbound and outbound, online and offline marketing activities that translate to the company's key objectives
All end-to-end demand generation and marketing funnel ownership, including new user and customer acquisition and retention programs and initiatives that drive new sales leads, enhance overall lead flow, qualification and nurturing, boost sales velocity, and ultimately, help increase Nitro?s bottom line
The most appropriate mix of marketing programs (email marketing, social media, community development, webinars, events, etc.) targeting new and existing prospects in key segments and verticals to build the sales lead pipeline, increase qualified opportunity creation, and accelerate new user and customer conversion and acquisition
Global GTM strategy for new regional markets and target segments
All partner marketing (resellers, OEMs, technology partners, marketing partnerships)
Nitro's marketing technology stack (analytics and reporting, marketing automation, funnel conversion, segmentation and targeting)
Data quality and analytics as a key component of our marketing funnel, with effective segmentation of prospects and customers to run the most effective, ?right-time, right-message? targeted campaigns
All vendor and partner negotiation and management as required
What you are/have:
8+ years of marketing leadership experience with proven ability to consistently deliver strong measurable results; global experience a big plus
Hands-on, proven experience in marketing (both branding and demand generation) across multiple sources and channels (web, email, events, SEM, etc.) with a solid track record of achieving and exceeding business results
Out-of-the-box thinking ability around how to creatively and cost-effectively build brand awareness, generate demand, and attract new users across a variety of channels and target segments
Proven experience attracting talent and successfully recruiting, building, and managing a team, as well as the ability to operate cross-functionally in order to achieve both departmental and overall company objectives
Fun, creative, high energy, innovative, proactive, team-oriented, and resourceful individual and leader with a passion for building businesses
Freemium model experience and experience marketing SaaS products are both highly desirable
Proven leadership and successful track record in setting priorities that reflect the overall goals of a business
Experience creating and managing global, multichannel marketing budgets and processes
Excellent presentation, messaging, communication, and creative skills
Exceptional writing and copy editing skills
Ability to manage multiple product and web properties with an emphasis on optimal user experience, content, information architecture, design, and demand generation
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a proven track record of success and setting and achieving ambitious goals
Excellent people and project management skills with strong interpersonal and team-building capabilities
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and marketing automation platforms
