Job Description
Reports to President, Serrano Mobile
If you?re a skilled, experienced, and proven sales leader looking for an opportunity to drive and grow a mobile technology business, read on. Serrano Mobile helps consumer-facing companies acquire new customers, build brand loyalty, and measure customer engagement through marketing programs and campaigns delivered over mobile devices.
We?re looking for forward-leaning, executive level ?solution selling? professionals who are excited by solving customers? problems through technology and have passion and understanding for mobile technology.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Deliver against revenue targets and secure ?lighthouse account? relationship from which we may demonstrate momentum and thought leadership.
Prospect, develop and close new customers for Serrano Mobile?s suite of mobile solutions. Sell both ?custom? and ?packaged? solutions which span mobile sites, mobile applications, and mobile campaign and engagement solutions.
Work closely with account management and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Mentor and professionally grow a high performing international sales team
Complete territory accounts plans that will maximize revenue within first 30 days of employment. Update plans quarterly.
Track KPIs and deliver monthly status reports which highlight momentum and results.
Partner with pre-sales engineers to showcase our solutions and value-proposition with new and existing customers. Work closely with pre-sales to respond to RFPs.
Partner with marketing to secure customer participation in ?customer evidence? efforts.
Participate in ?voice of the customer? input sessions with product management to ensure our solutions address key pain points.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date profiles on key accounts within CRM system.
Work closely with Marketing on lead generation activities.
Attend trade shows & conferences as required
Selling to:
Brand direct verticals including: Automotive, Financial, Retail, CPG, Media & Entertainment, Transportation, Hospitality and Gaming.
Target audiences include: CMO, SVP Marketing, VP Marketing, Digital/Mobile Lead and SVP/VP of operations and/or merchandising.
Required Skills
We are looking for a highly motivated, over-achieving player/coach with enterprise experience who excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Also required:
A minimum of 10 years of on-quota B2B software-solution selling experience including 2+ years successfully selling mobile marketing solutions.
A history of selling licensed services as well as professional services to large, complex organizations.
Skilled at negotiating business terms with line-of-business senior management and C-level executives.
History of consistent quota over-achievement in highly competitive and dynamic markets.
Teamwork and good communication skills a must as this position will also be responsible for managing a diverse and geographically distributed sales team, mentoring, coaching and driving them to over-achieve quotas.
Four year university / college degree required.
