VP of Federal Sales Interactions
Responsibilities:
Interactions is growing and expanding its sales organization comprised of the brightest and most committed team members to execute on our mission. We are seeking a highly motivated Executive with a proven track record in government technology sales and solid business-to-business sales. Candidates must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment where they will be empowered to sell advanced interactive solutions into the customer care organizations of federal centers.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of federal selling experience ? preferably as an individual contributor ? or as a sales manager ? of an early stage/start-up/ smaller company that has grown larger through their career.
Proven track record with consistent quota attainment that required detailed account planning
Experience selling in the Telecom/Customer Care/IVR space is a plus.
Have experience working in a federal role and with relationships in a variety of markets.
An openness and expectation to travel that accompanies these types of opportunities.
Ability to manage long, complex sales cycles, typically 12-18 months. Usually this will come with a level of maturity.
Executive presence associated with the relationships they will need to develop and maintain.
Strong planning, execution, and the ability to work successfully in a virtual team environment
Strong communication skills, including establishing credibility and trust with customers and building influential internal and external relationships.
Effective sales skills
Must be able to develop and execute a Sales Plan
Ability to understand and communicate the business value and ROI of proposed products and solutions
Understand how to work with resources internally in order to best support plan execution by mobilizing appropriate resources
Must be able to converse at the level of business value and ROI and be able to understand the implications within a client or prospect organization.
