TabbedOut is looking for a rock star VP of Indirect Channel Sales to join the team. The Indirect Sales and Partner team within TabbedOut is responsible quite simply for managing all of our partnership with POS Vendors, POS Dealers, Acquirers, Processors, ISOs and other indirect sales channels, which in turn make TabbedOut wildly successful. You?ll be an instrumental member of the team, building and leading while engaging directly with executives, partners, sales people and merchants to help design and implement winning indirect sales strategies that help get the very best results from our partners. We?re looking for a candidate who will ?get their hands dirty?.
You will be responsible for overall partner management including strategy development, quota management, training, implementation, support and general relationship support measured by channel productivity. The candidate will work closely with the TabbedOut Implementation, Development and Marketing teams to ensure that channel partners are achieving at the highest possible levels.
The ideal candidate will have superior communication and interpersonal skills. You should possess a quick and keen understanding of the hospitality industry, consumer psychology and merchant marketing. Your ability to communicate and influence strategies and solutions that best meet both TabbedOut?s and our Partner?s business objectives will be critical. You'll be counted on for high-level, out-of-the-box thinking, for your ability to clearly articulate the key sales channel and merchant adoption insights behind your recommendations, and for your ability to analyze the results of testing, and recommend winning solutions.
The individual will be expected to engage with executives, partners, sales people and merchants directly, exhibiting deep empathy, uncovering latent needs and getting past what partners say to what they actually do, think, and feel to identify critical insights on which we can build an amazing Indirect Sales Channel.
? Own sales performance of our existing Indirect Sales Partners and Authorized Resellers. Collaborate with management, multi-channel sales teams, product and others to achieve targeted P&L goals.
? Grow our network of partners. Directly sell to new POS partners, VARs, ISOs and other resale partners with an associated quota.
? Develop and implement the overall go-to-market strategy for authorized resellers, tailored to their individual needs and situation, to get the very best from our network of partners.
? Develop and execute with partners a comprehensive plan to ensure partner resources are trained on the latest solution, its benefits and our sales content.
? Implement communication channels to effectively broadcast ongoing product, marketing and promotional information or product changes to authorized resellers.
? Support and participate in rapid prototyping of ideas, strategies and solutions directly with partners on how to get the best of the relationships we have in place.
? Facilitate the training of the partners and their staff on the use of Tabbedout and Periscope. The training might include in person, over the phone or facilitating online training.
? Exhibit deep user empathy for our clients through direct engagement with partners, merchants and consumers.
? Responsible for working closely with the Tabbedout marketing team to identify opportunities for partner awareness and adoption ? including marketing events, trade shows, sponsorships and co-marketing opportunities with channel partners.
Prerequisites Of The Position:
? 7+ years of hospitality or merchant sales experience with 3-5 years of indirect channel sales relationship management.
? Bachelor?s degree
? Comfortable working with new to world mobile software systems and solutions.
? Proven ability to develop and implement indirect sales strategies.
? Experience working with agents, ISOs and other indirect sales organizations.
? Amazing interpersonal skills - strong written and verbal communication, active listening, building and fostering relationships at various organization levels.
? Ability to travel 30% of the time.
? Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent time-management skills.
? Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
