The Vice President of Long Term Care Business Development is the company?s sales leader for a designated territory, responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of new Skilled Nursing Facility and LTAC leads, managing the sales process with Corporate decision makers and facility executives (Medical Director, Director of Nursing, and other key administrators), and closing new facility service contracts. The Vice President of Long Term Care Business Development will achieve quarterly and annual new contract sales quotas within their defined territory. The position involves significant drive time in the VP?s local market as well as 50-60% travel time within the extended territory.
3+ years experience in successfully selling contract services to Long Term Care / Extended Care decision makers.
Proven capability in sales presentations, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Well developed territory planning and development ability.
Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of business development, marketing, financial analysis, and legal and ethical practices.
Comfort in learning and becoming conversant in a clinical discipline.
Computer literacy to support development of presentations, territory management, and the use of sales force tracking tools (e.g. salesforce.com).
MBA, MHA, RN, WCS, or Long Term Care administration background a plus.
Competitive base and commission with no cap on upside bonus structure
